Privacy Policy
How Muveo collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data.
Last updated: 2026-07-18
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Muveo processes personal data when you visit muveo.app, create an account, generate a video, make a purchase, or contact support.
2. Data we collect
We may collect:
- Account data: name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, account status, and preferences.
- Generation data: text prompts, selected settings, moderation decisions, task status, generated file links, and credit usage.
- Payment data: product, amount, currency, order, subscription, customer, refund, and transaction identifiers. Creem processes full payment-card details; Muveo does not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, pages visited, error logs, security events, cookies, and similar identifiers.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send to support.
3. Prompt moderation
Before a video generation request is queued or billed, the raw prompt is sent to Creem's Moderation API. Creem returns an allow, flag, or deny decision. Muveo blocks both flag and deny, and it does not send the prompt to the generation provider when moderation is unavailable.
4. How we use data
We process data to provide the service, authenticate users, screen unsafe prompts, generate and store videos, calculate and restore credits, process purchases and subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, troubleshoot failures, comply with law, and improve reliability and user experience.
Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We do not sell personal data. We disclose data only as needed to:
- Creem, our Merchant of Record and prompt-moderation provider;
- AI generation providers that process approved prompts and settings;
- Cloudflare and storage/infrastructure providers that deliver and protect the service;
- authentication, email, analytics, and support providers that we enable;
- professional advisers, authorities, or counterparties where law, safety, fraud prevention, or a business transaction requires it.
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy obligations. Data may be processed in countries other than your own, with safeguards used where legally required.
6. Retention and security
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including account operation, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirement. You may request account deletion, but we may retain records that law or legitimate fraud and payment needs require.
We use transport encryption, access controls, encrypted secret storage, signed webhook verification, and other technical and organizational safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and analytics
Muveo uses essential cookies for sign-in, locale, security, and preferences. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are used only when configured and where legally permitted. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but essential features may stop working.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal data, and to withdraw consent. Send requests from your account email to support@muveo.app. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Children
Muveo is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided personal data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@muveo.app.
